Suju is a Chinese-born, British-raised artist currently living and working in south-east London.
“I am self-taught and always learning. I began tattooing in 2019 and since then have steadily become more committed to the practice. Throughout my tattooing journey I have found a lot of joy and fulfillment in the craft, as well as finding a renewed sense of purpose to art-making in the process.
Tattooing has historically functioned as a means of telling stories of culture and identity. I work with the awareness of the spiritual significance of the craft, and with a gratitude for every individual I work with for trusting me to bring my vision into reality.”
